Shipping Tax And Return Policies
 
DOMESTIC SHIPPING
Unless you send us an e-mail or call us with special instructions, domestic shipping will be as follows:

2-9 Day - Items will be shipped via Media Mail or Parcel Post via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery times for the USPS. Depending on where the product is shipped from and your location, normal delivery usually takes 2-9 days, and more for Alaska/Hawaii/Armed Forces/Canada/U.S. Territories.

1-3 Day - Items will usually be shipped First-Class Mail via the USPS if total weight, including packaging, is less or equal to 13 oz. If total weight is greater than 13 oz., items will usually be shipped Priority Mail.

1-2 Day - Items will usually be shipped Express Mail via the USPS.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Unless you send us an e-mail or call us with special instructions, products fitting into a single envelope will be shipped USPS Global Mail (4-6 days). All other products will be shipped USPS Airmail Post (4-10 days).

For international destinations, please contact our CUSTOMER SERVICE center for a quote or visit our INTERNATIONAL page for further instructions on payment, customs, and shipping. Prices will vary, depending upon customized shipping options, weight and location of shipping destination.
 
The times we list on our site are generally reliable, but some are more reliable than others. Please note that for international shipping we cannot replace lost shipments (with the exception of USPS Global Express and UPS Worldwide Express, whose prices include a guarantee that in the event of a lost/damaged shipment your package will be replaced). Once we ship the item it is the responsibility of the postal service to get your package to you. While international packages occasionally do get lost, we cannot accept responsibility.
 
For items we have in stock, orders are processed within 2-3 business days. For back orders and items not in stock, orders are usually processed within 7-14 business days, with the occasional exceptions of import or special order items. It really depends on how quickly we can get the items from the publishers and manufacturers. As soon as we get your items, they will be shipped. You will receive an email confirmation that your order has been shipped.
 
Please keep in mind that you need to add shipping time onto the time it takes for us to process your order. Generally within 2 weeks you will be notified of the status of your order. If your order is not complete at this time, you may request a partial shipment. The remainder of your order will be shipped with a minimal shipping charge.
 
We do our best to fill orders as quickly as possible. If you believe there is a problem with your order, please contact us at CUSTOMER SERVICE to let us know. We will send you a status e-mail to let you know what is happening with your order. If you would like further updates on your order, please contact us at orders@gypsyjazz.net.
 
TAX
 
In accordance with applicable law, GypsyJazz.net will collect sales tax in California. Sales tax will be applied to the total amount of the order, excluding shipping charges.
 
RETURN POLICY for MERCHANDISE, EXCLUDING INSTRUMENTS
 
Gypsyjazz.net is happy to exchange defective CDs, VHS tapes, and DVDs (e.g., same titles) within thirty days of delivery. You may also return any product unopened that we shipped to you in error. Please include a letter containing your mailing address and the reason for the return. Feel free to contact us at CUSTOMER SERVICE if you have any questions. We will respond to your inquiries as promptly as possible.
