About: The aim of this book is to unveil the key elements of Django Reinhardt's style, now called "Jazz Manouche." Part One is on technique and rhythm. Part Two is on improvisation. Stephan studied with the acknowledged gypsy jazz masters Serge Krief, Moreno, Angelo Debarre, as well as in the most important school, that of gypsy camps. In terms of formal music education, Stephane studied composition, arranging, jazz and contemporary classical music for five years at The American School of Music in Paris.
